"Winner" medium zip pouch, Limited Edition Africa fabric

Back in May of this year my husband + I were invited to travel to Tanzania, Africa with Compassion International. I shared our entire week in Tanzania on my blog and I invite you to journey with me.

While in Tanzania I couldn't help but notice how much joy these people have in their hearts. Despite how poor they are, they have so much joy. Every day we visited a new church that was partnering with Compassion International. Usually the children would sing + dance for us, and one morning we were sung a song with the chorus, "We are happy today, We are happy today, We are happy today, to see our visitor."

Oh, my heart! It made me think about how often they have visitors -- and then these visitors ~ do they even realize how lucky THEY are to be a guest? Our lives changed for my husband + I the day we set foot in Africa.

Each pouch is named after a child we met that really impacted us. Winner really connected with my husband Zack and we were able to purchase a necklace Winner made, which totally made his eyes light up. It was amazing :)
